Eklavya is a child who made an idol of Guru Dronacharya and got inspiration from it to become the best archer. As part of the gift, he offered his right-hand thumb as Guru desired. He is remembered for ideal determination, mentoring sincerity, and loyalty to Guru.
Shravan was an ideal example of parental service. He decided to put each parent in a basket and tie each to an end of bamboo pole,which he could carry on his shoulder while on pilgrimage. His life teaches us to respect our elders and take care of our parents till our last breath.
